Navigate to Administration, Managing User Security, then select either Global profile definitions or Project profile definitions. The Docs below are valid as of the 5.0 release and have been updated since then for later releases. Please refer to online help for any updates. |

Fix: | The above privileges and definitions are also correct for version 6.0, with the following exceptions: Global profile definitions for 6.0 New in 6.0: Edit User Interface Views – allows the user to edit User Interface Views in Primavera’s Web Application. Edit Global Scenarios – allows the user to edit Global Scenarios. Edit Global Dashboards – allows the user to edit Global Dashboards in Primavera’s Web Application. Edit Projects from Scorecards – allows the user to edit Projects from Scorecard views in in Primavera’s Web Application. Changed from 5.0 to 6.0: The 5.0 privilege “Import Global Information” has been split into two distinct privileges in 6.0:
The 5.0 privilege “Edit Global Project and WBS Layouts” has become the 6.0 privilege “Add/Edit Global Project/WBS Layouts and Portfolio Views”. Project profile definitions for 6.0: Edit EPS Activity Codes – same as the equivalent privilege for Project Activity Codes, but applicable to EPS-specific EPS codes, which were introduced in 6.0. Add EPS Activity Codes – same as the equivalent privilege for Project Activity Codes, but applicable to EPS-specific EPS codes, which were introduced in 6.0. Delete EPS Activity Codes – same as the equivalent privilege for Project Activity Codes, but applicable to EPS-specific EPS codes, which were introduced in 6.0. View Timesheets in Reports: Edit Role Assignments for Resource Planning. Edit Committed Flag for Resource Planning. Edit Future Periods. Add/Edit Project Level Layouts. |
